PALMERS are seeking a Kitchen and Bathroom sales designer to join our established team. We have the flexibility to offer appointments from both our Nottingham and Lincoln showrooms - the role would suit someone living in Nottingham, Lincoln, Newark or surrounding area. We have free parking at both showrooms.
We provide a happy and supportive working environment, high quality appointments and competitive commission structure - In return, applicants need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of kitchen and bathroom sales design in a retail environment. Self-motivation and the determination and enthusiasm to succeed is essential You will need to be hardworking, target driven and able to work under pressure. You will need to be well presented, zesty, professional and willing to put in the hours. A full driving license and own vehicle is essential.
In your role as Sales Designer you will provide a consultation service with clients in their own home through pre-arranged showroom generated appointments. After the initial meeting you will be required to prepare detailed designs and specifications for the client including beautifully presented rooms in both plan form and full colour render to help realise our customers dreams and ideas. You will present these at a further showroom appointment to help the customers visualise fully their finished rooms. Finally, of course, closing the sale!
Full product training will be given, as well as the full support from our existing sales, installation, designers support and admin teams.

Proven CAD experience is essential and we would respectfully ask that only those with a minimum of 2 years retail experience in the kitchen/bathroom industry apply for this position.
