Your new role:
Through effective planning, time management and the execution of professional sales techniques; as an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales growth and profitability targets specifically in the KBB sector for your postcode area (NR and IP). Working in line with the key objectives of the business across all strategic product, channel and market strategies, you will deliver an exceptional service to your customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To deliver financial growth targets in line with Company forecast - To achieve targets for new and current Trade Partners and Studio Partners ensuring effective area coverage, implementing development programmes to ensure all commercial targets are met and service levels are achieved and exceeded. - Deliver against all product introduction and promotional initiatives - Provide market feedback covering competitor pricing, product and service provision - Provide monthly report evidencing success areas and opportunities for improvement and development - Ensure all customer interaction is recorded and managed through the CRM system on a daily/weekly basis
What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful in this position you will:
- Have extensive KBB Industry knowledge and experience covering products and markets - Have demonstrable experience of excellent sales and negotiation skills - Have a high level of commercial understanding - Have the drive, initiative and enthusiasm to succeed - Have excellent reporting and analytical skills - Have excellent planning and organisational skills - Have excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure - Thrive in a sales and customer service role - Possess IT and budgeting skills

This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to make a strong positive impact right from the start. It is a full time, permanent role, starting in September 2019, core hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. A job profile is available on request.
